Dami Im (Korean: 임다미, born 17 October 1988) is a South Korean-born Australian singer, best known as the winner of the fifth series of The X Factor Australia in 2013. She subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia and released her winner's single "Alive", which debuted at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart. Im's self-titled album, Dami Im, was released in November 2013 and debuted at number one the ARIA Albums Chart. She became the first X Factor Australia contestant in the history of the ARIA Charts to follow up a number one single with a number one album.

Well, I am disappointed and glad at the same time that Dami Im did not win. I think the judges also steered away from her winning the Euro Vision Song Contest otherwise next years Euro Vision Song Contest would have been held in Australia, a Non European country.. If Dami' had won the Euro Vision Song Contest, it would also have opened the flood gates from other Non- European countries, which would have caused the organisers a very big headache to change the Euro Vision Song Contest maybe to an International Vision Song Contest. I think singers or bands from Non- European countries should be invited as special guests rather as contestants and, keep the Euro Song Contest functioning the way has been from the start. Sorry Dami, I still like you a lot.You are fabulous.

I knew Dami Im had a chance to win the The X Factor, when I first heard her sing. I wasn'tsurprised, when she did win. She is a great talent and hope she keeps on makes records, for a long time. And,with the help of Danni,she may just do that.
