The guitar-player: Isn´t it the same guy who later was the musical mind for Billy Ido, and also some time playing with Michael Jackson?

Looks like Dalbello was like a pop metal version of Pat Benatar.

this show is from october 1st 1985.Queensrijche's version was released in 1986. so she never could have taken any hints from queensrijche's version. And she don't need that anyway...

Hi mate, I didn't say he is a bad guitarist. But the way he uses his tremolo bar is painful in this song and far beyond being good. That you have to confess if you ever played a guitar with a vibrato or tremolo system. I never said with a single word that I'm better than he and that I play guitar better than he does. I only wonder how you will know how good I play - or not play... LOL Cheers mate \m/

it was a mess but he still beats you 100%. People saw him play. Unless its mom in your basement no one sees you.

Woman was their time ahead; one of the best performance artists in the music industry of the eighties; unfortunately it was never correctly seriously taken; hear it again and again gladly;

Lisa Dal Bello is real great. But I`m in hope this guitar player never ever played a guitar with a vibrato after this concert - till he learned how to use it. His "Solo" sounds like he ever used the vibrato for the first time in his life.

This sounds like she took some hints from Queensrych's cover version when reworking it for this show. I like it! ^_^

Dalbello was WAAAY before her time. Back then you were either pop or metal and there wasn't the internet around to be able to hear different sounds. She really gave it a good shot but sadly her music wasn't Top 40 at the time.

I'm not sure about the specifics of it... although I remember reading a quote by Ms. Dalbello where she said she was impressed that Geoff Tate could hit some of those notes & she was very pleased with their cover. You can find the original music video for this song here on YouTube as well. For more info on Dalbello, you can visit my fan site dalbello[DOT]4x2[DOT]net... if you click on the discography link, you'll find she's worked with lots & lots of musical artists in many genres.
