So, today I got lucky, since I found a delivery note in my mailbox and it turned out I had this awesome album waiting for me at the post office. The album's name is Random Access Memories and if you like the electronic/disco music of the '70s and '80s, you will definitely enjoy it.

The audio goes straight out from my Leema Elements Phono preamp to the input of my M-Audio MobilePre MkII audio interface, no processing or enhancement was done on the audio track, apart from normalizing it, then converting the 24 bit recording back to 16 bit, due to YouTube limitations.

I have the double LP and the CD. The LP does sound a little better here and the pressing quality was very good, but I wouldn't say the CD sounded terrible by any means.

Тональность плывёт. Видать вся серия этих пластинок неотцентрованно штамповалась )

Everyone who thinks this sounds better because it's from a vinyl should have their ears (and also their mind) examined: you're listening to this from a relatively low quality, re-encoded and re-compressed digital sound source called YouTube. We're far from a lossless digital format here, folks !

Vinyl version the only one I can stand. I'm really not a fan of this song, but now it's kinda cool :) I don't know what actually changed but it is good :)I wanna hear the more techno stuff on vinyl now, need to look into this more :D

Im hearing this through my yamaha Hs-8 monitors, and i compared vinyl to the digital version. The digital sounded more open, detailed, deeper bass. This vinyl sounds dull imo. sorry but i dont believe vinyl always sounds like your wet dream, because i owned alot of vinyls in the past, but in my journey i come to the conclusion that vinyl truely is a hit or miss. I really think many people romanticize vinyl to be better than digital.

Jeden z fajniejszych wg. mnie utworów nowego nurtu muzycznego. Ma klimat, ducha i brzmieniowe ambicje. Klucz tkwi najzwyczajniej w trzymaniu starego stylu i mentalności. Piosenka oparta ogólnie mówiąc na "old schoolu."

OMG that sounds sooooo good. The warmth of the bottom end and the crisp but controlled highs really shine in this vinyl recording. Digital just doesn't have the endearing qualities that vinyl captures. Thanks for posting :-)

Definitely Daft Punk's RAM sounds amazing. What's a pity is that it stands out because of its sound quality when in fact in the late 70s, early 80s, there were like 100 releases each week that sounded like this, and now everyone goes, "wow, what a sound!". They just reinvented the wheel, but of course everyone on square wheels (ultra limiting and STILL the 44,1 Khz and 16bit CD) is amazed. You can hear the bass and kick drum pumping away, vocals arent's squashed, everything has its own space...I won't go into mp3 which degrade the sound to the extreme.
