I've been looking for this song...not knowing who performed it...for about 40 years. I last heard it on a San Francisco Bay Area FM station about 1972. When America came out with "Sandman" I immediately thought of this tune. I just finally asked google again [last time was probably 2007] if it could place those lyrics: "Waiting for the man from Afghanistan to come" ...as after 40 years thats all I could remember. Thank You For Sharing, Cheers!
