It's a testament to his skill as a singer and performer that he was even able to make it through this concert let alone sound as good as he does. Thank god he overcame his demons and is still with us today.

This concert actually took place not long before David Crosby was arrested and subsequently almost died from his drug addictions. Throughout this entire concert you can tell that it is almost painful for both Stills and Nash to look at him. It's as if they both feel this might be the last time they see him. At various points during this concert it appears that Crosby is wandering off stage at innapropriate times. He confirmed years later that he was trying to go and do more drugs.

Does anyone know when this took place? It looks like possibly the late 80's. I love the wizened, elder statesmen look David Crosby has here. He's obviously feeling a little "mellow", and that look he gives at the line "It quite nearly killed me" says it all. This is one of my favorite songs from their first record. So upbeat, so heartfelt. They don't make 'em like this anymore.

1:01 e 1:02: I almost cried to laugh with Crosby's face at this point, as if to say... it is. Thank God they are healthy, they could come to Brazil and I could see them. A long trip when I started to hear them in my youth to the show in Sao Paulo, this year. It has also been a long journey from the interior to the capital and back to work on the same day, but worth every second. Health, and back to, not only an audience, but a football crowd clapping heartily. I was there.
