This was my father's favorite band and I remember listening to all his CCR 8-track tapes whenever we made the trip from South Carolina,where we lived for 5 years 1969 to '74 and would drive I-95 up to Brooklyn,NY every summer the first week of July-this band never made a bad song,and I know Alexi Laiho covered "Looking Out My Back Door",but I would LOVE to hear him play this song-Bodom covers are the best!! \m/

I remember sitting watching a Packers game back in the early 2000's. Brett Favre was still the QB. During a timeout they played this song as they showed movie clips from Brett's career and childhood up on the "Jumbotron" . The crowd went nuts. To this day when I hear this song, I don't think of the 60's,or Vietnam,I think of Brett Favre!
