John Fogerty is a victim of his generation and the situation. He was a one man show during a time when the formula was to be like the Beatles, Monkeys, etc. He was the heart, soul, and brains of the real CCR and the band should have no doubt been called the "The John Fogerty Band." When they broke up the other band members couldn't accept that they were merely pawns sharing the fruits of John Fogerty genius and used their collective strength to allow a greedy executive steal his life's work. I have sympathy for John Fogerty and the situation that he had to endure. He really tried to share the stage with the rest of the band but at the end of the day ANY decent musicians could have filled in for everyone except John and the product would have been the same.
