I'll never forget when I first heard this song. My Dad was driving me to my first job interview when I was 16 (I later got the job as a fucking dishwasher), anyhow, I thought the singer was saying, "The beast is dead" but it's peace not beast. Great band though.

Is this song religious or not? Who cares? Lyrics can be interpreted in many, many, many different ways. I, personally, am an Atheist. I know good music when I hear it, for it says the things I feel without me having to say it. This song has helped me through rough times in the past and did that just now. I actually forgot about this song for quite some time until this moment and it helped me deal with things that I cannot begin to explain/understand. Stop all the argument about religion on a video about music, for it means different things to every person who hears it.

twistedmetal89 i pray for you, if you are a follower of God you can feel the joy of it, there are much that you don't know an who are to blame? Yourself? yes, but to the extent, it is the worlds fault for the lack of belief as we're punished because of it so we can not hear or be guided directly by God himself, as if you read in the bible John, luke, Joseph etc etc were spoken to by God an gave direction. Therefore society itself is to blame for Gods voice of reason not being there...but that feeling isn't gone...ever felt like doing something before you did it was a bad idea or wrong? this is God saying think wisely an twicely before doing so, because it is more than likely a bad idea, wrong, or just bad altogether. I say to each his own but my beliefs are in christ and my God as he is the true God an only god. I pray everyone searches an finds him among this hollowed place we reside, cause this is just a place we're passing through this is not home.
