Anyway, besides my comments and answers regarding drugs/booze experiences of mine and of others that i typed in this and other Cranford Nix videos, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE MUSIC ITSELF, AND LET'S STATE THE OBVIOUS: THIS SONG IS AMAZING. And it's great, like other tracks of his own, not only for the heart, but also for the simplicity and spontaneity: if he tried to be a blues guitar "hero", adding pompous solos and stuff like that, the heart factor could have been easily lost. His song writing is great just because it really sounds like street life, and street is rough and mean, beautiful and welcoming, cold and warm, depending on where your instinct leads you (and on fortune too, of course!).
