Finished watching the (DVR'd) 3.5 hour SNL 40 year anniversary last night and thought Miley Cyrus did a good job covering Paul Simon's "50 Ways to leave your lover". She did a better job with Dolly Parton's "Jolene".That got me thinking about Cowboy Junkies cover of Lou Reed's "Sweet Jane" which ultimately led me to the brilliant and slightly less down beat "A Common Disaster".Now I'm thinking about Silversun Pickups "Lazy Eye"...

I knew this song for years, and used to hear it now and then. Awhile ago I watched "Six Feet Under" about a decade late, and was delighted to catch a glimpse of the song in an episode. Now I'm here in the video and I find Margo really resembles Brenda! ;)

Not really my type of music but I really love the Cowboy Junkies, this song is awesome. One of the best uses of feedback ever. RUSH is my favorite band, strange but maybe I just like Canadian bands?
