RIP Neil Aspinall.

For those interested in the technicalities, the v drum kit is triggering samples from the BFD2 library, which the makers claim are recorded from one of Ringo's 1960s Ludwig kits. It certainly sounds pretty authentic with very slack tom toms, once I put some beefy compression on it.

Aside from that we have some acoustic 12 string to replace the piano I can't play, Rickenbacker 4003 bass (similar to what Sir Paul was playing at the time), Rickenbacker 660/12 string for the chiming parts, and some Gretsch and Telecaster elsewhere. And some three part harmonies as well.

And of course, the Beatles themselves, skiing for tax reasons.

PS. Had some problems uploading this...

Good job man!!! That's very difficult to play all those instruments and you did it quite well! For anybody who is hatin' on my bro here why don't you post a video of you playing and singing this song like he did!! That's what I thought!!!!!!

Okay, sorry about that. It's just that I have noticed that Ringo's drumming seemed to have an echo to it, which led me to believe that he didn't use it. Thanks for politely correcting me- I usually get some jackass calling me retarded or something, and I am glad that there are some mature people on the internet as a whole. And yes, I will look up that model compressor, but just not on Google, because I have a strong bias against it. ; ) Oh, and I am definitely subscribing.

@danielearwicker I have a suggetion about that. You said that you put some compression on the kit, yet Ringo never had any, but just a very slight echoe. I would suggest just putting a bit of delay on the kit next time, if possible. It suits the circumstances, but they didn't have/ use compression then, so it would be a bit more authentic.

Great¡¡¡ performance, beautiful EQ, maybe the guitar solo needs some effects.

That's why I want the TD-20. You can adjust the levels between drums really easy.

Hahaha! That's a David moment right there. 'His computer/my computer'. Nah, for your videos I always use EZDrummer. There's just more variety in the samples. I do like the Oyster kit on your Roland though (#87 I think it is). Snare is too loud compared to the other drums though.
