@evelau - It is really difficult to concentrate on singing a part and playing SLIDE dobro at the same time...I know, because I play steel. Notice how he drops out when he sings. Some accompaniment patterns work well to back up a singer on dobro, you'll see Josh did a few numbers where he backed himself up, but not too much.
