I'm a rocker, but this song is incredible !! I first heard it on 'Family Guy'...no shit LOL My grandmother, God rest her soul loved this kind of music and I heard it often as a kid, as well as Johnny Cash, Ray Charles. Brings back a lot of memories. : )

As a young African American kid, my mother took me and my brothers and sisters to the "San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo" back in 1970, Mr. Conway Twitty came out singing this songs. I believe that I fell in love with Country music at that time. What a great song! Truly a great artist, and person, Conway Twitty was... Thank you for sharing the memories.

I cannot express how much I love this! It's amazing. Who is the bassist? He seems to be playing some really intricate stuff although its hard to make out. Also, does anyone know what bass he's got there? It looks rather nice to say the effing least. ;)
