People that think Nickelback is the heaviest music out there, and do not consider this a form of music. Trust me, where I live, people think Nickelback is the "king of music." I live in Iowa, and it's the common image of Iowa: country, hard rock is AC/DC, and "heavy" music is Nickelback... Music like this will never be appreciated by people who just abide by the radio, sad but true...

while lyrics do exist for this album i think it's completely irrelevant what they are. Bannon's vocals are an instrument, they convey the emotion in the lyrics perfectly and i wouldn't love this album any less if he was actually just going "RAH RAH RAAAAH"

I totally agree, but good lyrics with this kind of music is kind of wasted sometimes because it's not always legable with all the other busy sounds being demonstrated, but sometimes having all together is just outstanding!

I can actually understand Converge most of the time, not other hardcore bands, but once you get used to a certain singer or band by listening to them enough, you can learn to understand the screaming. Also, it's not just the lyrics, there's also the instrumental and emotion that comes with the rest of the song.
