You are not supposed to actually hit people when you are two-stepping, spin kicking or windmilling. people are just dancing and they sort of take turns to do that style of moshing, sometimes accidents happen, most metal dudes seem to hate it for reasons unknown, if you want to push-mosh/slam dance then don't go to see a band with a lot of danceable parts, and don't slam into people dancing, you might get hit by a swinging fist or you may start a fight. let people dance to dance parts and let people slam in the push pit parts~
