Also this song wasnt even a blues song - its from the Broadway show St Louis Woman - Johnny Mercer was a pop writer though Arlen was more bluesy. Didnt your extensive understanding cover that :-)

This may be the best version of this classic EVER recorded. The trumpet is pure genius. Not many musicians can go toe to toe with Ms. LaMott. How do we get more people to hear this?
