this is clip #4 in my series of brilliant last tracks of brilliant albums.
one of my ten albums to take to the lonely island is "Commercial Suicide" by Colin Newman of WIRE from 1986. Liner notes on the 2003-re-release-CD say "a masterpiece of refined electronic pop [...], featuring excentric lyrics and surprising arrangements for chamber music ensemble". The final track that is presented here is also available in remixed form as the b-side of the 7" "Feigned Hearing". Clip is made with footage of Werner Schroeter's "Flocons d'or" with Udo Kier and Magdalena Montezuma.

Hello hankoegal,I'm really impressed with this footage of Flocons d'or. I have seen the film by Schroeter in a short version of 90 mins. But the film I've seen contains the episodes of "Cuba" (also with Magdalena Montezuma) and the final with the deserted train station. However, I didn't find any of these stunning scenes. Do you have a longer version of the film? (I know there is one of 3 hours) Could I have any possibility to see it? If so, please, contact me by private, I GREATLY appreciate.
