This track reminds me of how broken I used to be, its great to look back and realize how far I've gotten. Not the same beat down person who missed his mother after she had just left the family months before he graduated high school, watching everyone in his family break down mentally and emotionally because of it...watching his father crumble..stumble..break down, Not having the full support of those who used to push him because they were too busy pushing themselves around. Going to college away from my friends, having my best friends move away one after another only to realize, I was still in the same city I have been all my life. Everyday was the same thing, college, home, work, gym,...repeating it for 3 year, slowly feeling like I was dying internally. Saving money for a car, having to take the bus for a good while, a 1 hour 30minutes to get to school, & a 1 hr 30 minutes to get home. I remember coming home at the end of the day and sparking up a bowl of some weed and listening to this as I thinking "surely there's more meaning to life than doing this over and over and over again"... sweet nostalgia. lol I love this track <3 and love where I am in life and how far I have made it. Its only been 6 years, but it feels like an eternity since all of that.
