Even though I am older than dirt, I hail from Northern Illinois and I've been following this band since they were jamming around the bars and clubs of Rockford, DeKalb & Freeport, Illinois.  Great vocals...great musicians....excellent musical arrangers.  WHY are they not in the Rock HOF?????  Original line up except the drummer who retired.  Solid rockers with a vocalist who can still go for the notes!!!   HOF....WAKE UP!!!!!

Both Nielsen and Carlos worked with Lennon in August of 1980 during the production of Double Fantasy.  According to Carlos, Lennon was so impressed with Nielsen's playing, he said he wished Rick had been his 2nd guitar during the recording of Cold Turkey.  And now you know.

I think the strongest evidence for that is the last section of Cheap Trick's "The Ballad of TV Violence."
