As much as I loved the movie Walk the Line I think they could have done better than to recruit Joaquin Phoenix. Why? Because Joaquin has a very high-pitched voice compared to old John who had such a deep masculine bass singing voice. I think if they really wanted to accurately honor Cash's life they could have found someone with a much deeper singing voice than Joaquin Phoenix. Aside from that little tid bit, I really enjoyed the movie.
