It's intentionally rendered in low quality. Do you think that Clark or Warp records do not have good enough equipment to render beyond this capacity? It's intentional, regardless of what it does to the sound.

Nice drumming. It reminds me of certain jazz drummers and Jaki Leibzit of Can. Also of Autechre's rhythms - except they don't use a real/live drummer.
