Replace Clare with east London and "here" with NW Australia and it sums up my current situation. Beautiful song. Grew up listening to Paddy Reilly but finally can understand the sentiment of songs like this and deportees.

What year was this recorded! I have met and sessioned with him at Milwaukee's "Park East Hotel" at an after fair party one night after "MIlwaukee Irish Fest"! This was back in the late 80's/Early 90's! GOD those were great times! GREAT Musican! Paddy, you need to come back one more time.....We Miss you!
