Man that was rough. I thought I was getting over my post-Clannad depression but just now in the aisle next to me at work I heard this little girl say "What do you want daddy?" and she sounded just like Ushio talking to Tomoya. That did it. The tears started welling up almost immediately and I almost didn't make it to the bathroom before I started crying. That says something right there about what Clannad does to you emotionally.

Clannad hands down has the best story line which connects to real life. Ecspecially to those who went through what Okazaki did. After loosing the two people he loved the most, he literally lost his reason to live. But i found the part where he and the robot and the second chance... for me that sort of spoiled the show. To be honest, anybody who reads this comment, no matter what problems you go through, every tear of yours is held in the palm of Jesus. Imagine this, you love someone so much and the part they are in is leading them to their doom and the only way to save them is by trading in your own life. Thats what Jesus did, he traded his life for yours and mine so that you and can go through the pain in life, the sufferings of life and at the end of the day come out victorious and satisfied knowing that you could not have done by without Jesus help. If your still reading up to hear please dont stop. Jesus knows your heart, He knows your sitting down and your rising up... He died so that YOU can live a FREE life. He died so that YOU need not go through depression, self condemnation, the hurt of betrayal, the cruelty of life and suffer from it. Remember, the devil is a LIAR! Depression and all of those are part of tge devils lies! Jesus rose from the dead after dying for YOU.. Imagine that, sombody actually died for YOU! He rose up from the dead victorious!!! Now you are redeem from the curse of the law, you are redeem from sickness, poverty and death! Jesus paid the price! Through Him you are Victors! Now dont feel condemned, dont give up on God cause He has not given up on you and He never will! Give jesus a chance and you will not regret it. Just the simplest of prayers such as 'Jesus help I do not know what to do', he will be there to give you a big daddy hug! :) So i pray that you can see how real Jesus can be in your life causs he is so real in mine... so yea enjoy life and God Bless :)

After finishing this anime I feel so empty Im so sad for a week I feel like broken.. even two years have past I still remember this anime cause me so many heart breaking emotions. Truly a master piece anime.
