It's strange... The first time I listened to it, I was like... what the fuck? This has like one good song, what happened? And quite recently, actually, I thought to give it another shot since Violent Waves is so damn good. I started with Through the Desert Alone and it was just fantastic and I didn't remember it being that good, so then the whole album followed suit and I don't know why I didn't like it before!

seriously, every band has those fans that don't like when the artists go through musical advances and changes. If you had a band that really hooked you with an album and got you through hard times then you should have respect for them and support them through their changes just like they supported you. The album you love isn't going anywhere.

That's what's so cool about this band... their music has developed and changed so much over the years but has never gone "bad". Each full length album has a completely different feel to it, all in a good way.

this IS my favorite band but BSN compared to their other stuff is justttt not worth (in my most humble opinion). its just different. i dont know, its weird. with their old stuff i could listen to it and literally be completely at ease and a little depressed even. like their old music just totally understood me. but BSN is just bad! :(
