honestly, the album he did with timberland is one of my favorites. i thought it was garbage at first cuz it was so different than his usual stuff, but i kept listening and finally it grew on me. the songs are amazing, if u can accept that other side of his music and listen to it with an open mind, you might like it. idk though, if he made a country album id buy it, and i HATE country.

He's also made some poor choices regarding listening to Yoko - I mean Susan - in breaking up Soundgarden, and then inolvement in dismantling Audioslave. I respect Tom Morello a lot as a guitarist but think he's largely wasted in Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave was a wonderful venue for he and Chris both. Thankfully after the Timbaland fiasco Chris wised-up and gave his Soundgarden bandmates a call...they still rock!

I'd *mostly* agree except the part about "if he dumbed down his music so everyone would like him." That last solo album was no rock, all electro-pop produced by Timbaland and it was terrible any way you cut it.

the great thing about chris cornell is that not everyone likes him, hes popular but not really at the same time. u have to truly appreciate music to get him. he wouldnt be my favorite artist if he dumbed his music down so everyone would like him. so let those 21 other people listen to justin beiber n rhianna n dislike this song :)
