I'm not one for survival horrors but Alan Wake is a masterpiece. The story, the gameplay, the cutscenes, the songs...all perfectly intertwined. The moment you start playing it..you're drawn in and made to feel like you, mind and body, are alan wake. Best way to play this game is either with every light source around cut off or at night and speakers, or headphones, to the limit of tolerance.
