I remember this song too well. I was serving overseas, in the U.S. Navy. I received a dear john letter from my girl friend. I was devastated. I wanted to kill myself. I listened to this song until there were no more tears in my eyes. It took a few years before I could come to terms with losing my girlfriend. This song still resonates deep within my soul. The song make me feel sad and happy.
