Mr 'Smooth' Chet Atkins, certainly is easy to listen to and he is the most endearing to listen to as well, because he brought us this style many years ago and most of us have grown up with it. Sadly Chet is no more but there are many guitarists who play his style that are quite good in their field as well. Three to mention, Frank Vignola and Tommy Emmanuel and Emil Ernebro.

It's in G6 tuning. All you have to do is drop your E string to D and the A string to G. It sounds sooooo sweet.
