This isn't the first version of this song though. The original was very honky tonk and they dropped it in favor of this one.

So they did two studio versions, this one, and then a more watered down version in '77. And then the live version which is the best one, according to, well, everybody, which is weird because many people, including myself hate live versions of songs.
