Herd this on CBC radio today and was pleased to find out that the song is about good times Charlie's in the iconic Plains hotel . I grew up in Regina Saskatchewan and will always remember that hotel and all the good times I have had at good times Charlie's. Thanks to deep dark woods for writing such a great song.

I was up in Canada visiting my wife and I was waiting in the car for her.. just flipping through stations and I heard the tail end of this. It haunted my memory until I was able to find out what song it was and who sung it... I haven't been able to stop listening to this and a few other songs from TDDW. Props from an American!
