Like many of you, I loved Charice and her story when she first arrived on the scene. I saw her performance on Oparah with Iyaz. It was fantastic! I purchased Charice's first album (Pyramid), and I love all of its songs. It's still one of my go-to albums for great heart-moving music.Well, many people know by now that Charice has come out, saying that she feels like man inside. I fully respect her position, because I've learned in my spiritual journey that all of us are spirits first and foremost, and neither male nor female in entirety. However, our spirits can identify more with female or male or something in between the two. We also live many lives -- sometimes as male and sometimes as female, but spiritually, none of us is totally one or the other. All of us are a blending of the two.However, before we enter the physical body, we must pretty much choose to be one or the other. There are ambiguities of course. Life is that way.Anyway, I find Charice's state facinating and puzzling at the same time. She emanates such tremendous female energy, yet now, she is sprinting away from it by professing her feelings of being male. My only fear is that she will not continue using the gift of voice that God has given to her.Charice, if you really want to look like a male, then by all means, do as you please. However, just do it for the right reasons. Coming out doesn't mean that you have to look like a man. Just be yourself. Look like yourself. If looking like a man is what you really need to do, then by all means, do so. I realize that your physical body isn't really who you are. Nevertheless, just be who you are and accept nothing less.
