Here's a drum cover from Chaka Khan.

The original track was played by Steve Ferrone, my favourite drummer! I'm trying to play this song note for note as Ferrone recorded it and I hope it feels at least half as good as the original.

There's some Steve's signature fills that you can hear on his other recordings from that time (like 1:17).

When doing these covers it's always nice to think that I'm playing live at the recording session with the best cats in the world like Anthony Jackson and Michael Brecker etc and I have to be at the same level as these guys...maybe some day :)
