I can see some comments below; I speak both English and French and I have to say, I don't find the French version any deeper or more emotional than the English one because the words are so resounding and terribly sad here too and it has got the same dose of poetry and pain and so we can really feel how devastated she and her sister's family was after the loss. I like both.

This song and Candle in the wind are two of the most beautiful tribute songs ever written. It must've been heartbreaking when Karine died in Celine's arms. I hope one day that they will find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, so that no one else will suffer. Karine looked so beautiful and wonderful RIP.
