If I'm not mistaken, Kirki Nagin is 'Window Snake' Char means 'Years' Samaj Bet Kar 'Sit and understand' 'Sab Ko Sita Ram Kar 'Everybody knows or everyone refers to Sita and Ram Play'. This is just from what I could understand. This song like most old Chutney they're all religious/bhajans

I can boast that Sundar Popo was my neighbor, and I used to see Mr. Fonrose passing by in his car when I was a little girl. He and one of my uncles were friends. :-)

This man Cecil Fonrose was the person who taught Famous Sundar Popo to sing and play music.Here he was receiving his First Major National Award as the most famous African Singing Chutney and Indian Classical songs at Hilton Hotel, awarded by The National Chutney Foundation of Trinidad and Tobago, in the presence of His Excellency Professor Maxwell Richard President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
