great version.. and cathy is probably the better singer between her and britney... but Britney brought a certain fierceness, sexyness and confidence to the song that cathys version lacked.... I dont think this song would have been such a big hit if Cathy released it.

Little random fact this made me think of that you sure want to know : -Andrea Bocelli (a blind man, not so known opera singer) made a demo like that for Pavarotti to sing in duo with the famous Sarah Brightman. -Pavarotti liked it so much that he refused to take his place to sing the song, and thats what launched Andrea Bocelli's career by "forcing" him to climb on the big stage. I will let you guess what song that was... ;)

genius, its such a fabulous pop record, and this mix was so far advanced that who would possibly reject it. The only tragedy is that CD didn't enjoy the icon career she wanted but instead made it possible for others. I cant even get my head round where she started writing this record, its so vague on melody yet brilliantly catchy.

Lmfao at people saying this version is better then Britney's? This girl sounds SO awkward on this demo... She sings with no fierceness, nothing. The MOMENT Britney's voice comes on the original song, "oh baby can't you see..." it's like BAM. A firey, fierce, explosion of edyness and personality and SEX. This girl has no personality when she sings.

We know here what this about, it's rather funny! Essex is the home of the spray tan, and it much like tip-ex it doesn't taste very nice. We both live there, nice place but at the same time the county is the butt of England's jokes, a bit rich coming the the area that has the best claim to inventing the language. It's the Jewish part of England, and whilst local blokes look much like regular English blokes, the ladies are a bit different and resemble something between Italian, Hispanic and African-American, there's a lot of Essex Girl jokes that are based around racism, anti-Semitism and sexism in one.
