Its about someone who has lived a guarded, cautious, introverted, lonely, isolated borderline boring antisocial life with inhibitions, trust issues, and an inability to connect with anyone making him/her feel like they don't belong. Someone who does not open up and has emotional walls set up as defense for fear that he/she may get hurt perhaps due to past emotionally traumatic experiences. Then a person, or a group of people show him/her a world of trust, openness, adventure, exploration, risk, knowledge, enlightenment, fun, love, passion, tenderness, sex, friendship, happiness, and most importantly a place where he/she can belong. This is exciting and truly what he/she wants but the emotional guard and walls that have been up for so long are hard to take down as he/she fears mistrust, heartache, pain, betrayal, abandonment. But if the new found person or people who came along and showed him/her this new world promise to hold him/her now and never leave, promise to stay forever then he/she will surrender, drop the guarded walls of emotion and open up to form the connection he/she has wanted and needed for so long............beautiful
