Just to clarify to everyone, I speak English only but I have sung songs in Russian (Kalinka), African (can't think of of the name but one of my favourites :( ), German (Silent Night), Italian (too many to list), Hebrew (too many to list seeing as I'm a converting to Judaism and prayers ALONE are sung in Hebrew but my favourite song is Hava Nagila), French (did a few for chorus in high school)...so in other words no she does not need to know the language to sing it. When music is put behind the words it makes it easier to remember and recite.

I dont think she speaks english very well to answer all your questions, when you listen to what she sings she uses wrong words etc. so no i dont think she can speak english very well. but she is just young and those days will come, so i dont mean this in a negative way at all. Lovely voice, hope to hear more from her when it gets more mature :)

Why she speak French but sing in english ? it's a French girl she just speak french she have done a cover , she learn she song in english! here in France we learn english at school we could talk a little bit of english but not everytime . So it's why she speak french . If you learn a song in french , that would'nt say that you talk French
