Capital Steez was an indie rapper but I think his lyricism and the way he could express himself on the mic if compared to a mainstream artist was up their with Eminem. Pretty sure the entire game would be different right now if Steez were still around. Steez seemed kind of docile, in some of the interviews Joey comes off as condescending towards Steez and Steez just laughs it off. Once Steez's image changed you can tell he had more confidence and joey didn't try to punk him as much. It's interesting though how Joey and his mom became the owners of Pro Era while Steez was alive. and when Stussy dropped the PEEP tape right before Steez's death they released a shirt that said "Joey Bad Ass and the Progressive Era", 3 days before Steez's supposed suicide. Steez obviously got fucked over financially by Joey and his mama & it's obvious their was something going on with that because some articles about Steez talk about how Steez planned on going solo in 2013. Pro Era obviously hasn't dropped Steez's unreleased songs yet because he would clearly have a more consistent line up of songs then Joey.KING STEELO RIP
