Yes, she does prefer her privacy. But she is being informed by her students about her "virtual life" her on YouTube. Several of her student have left messages her, and talk about her. As for FaceBook, someone has set up a tribute page to her (Candi and the BackBeat); which, again, I'm sure she knows about...and who knows, maybe she even checks it out every once in awhile. :-)
