Wake To

To everyone who's enjoying this but have been unable to figure out what's different with the band, I would look at how the guys have brought melody into their music. I've been a huge fan for 4/5 years now and every record Cancer Bats have dropped has been fantastic. Up until this point the band have had a solid combination of hardcore punk philosophy (touring like animals, staying true to their music etc) and old school metal riffage that work so well when combined with Liams vocals. While none of this has dissipated with the new songs, I can definitly tell they guys have decided to step it up a notch and start to intergrate meoldic punk. In my humble opinion this is a GREAT thing for the band and an awesome step forward. I never even knew Liam (singer) had the ability to sing semi clean and it gave me a huge nostalga trip to the diverse punk / metal / grunge band's I loved from the 90's.Cancer Bats have been kicking around for a very long while now and it's about time they get recognised for being such an awesome, hard working band. I really hope this is the record that explodes and connects with the most people musically. Here's to March 2015!
