I hope not to offend people with my opinion, this genre is not my cup of tea, but it is not, by far, Satanic. Turn off any and or all music and just READ the words. There are some who need a simple version such as Amazing Grace, then there are others who need something punctual that screams out to their soul that God is there with them. Let us say that each version of the bible was different manuscripts, the KJV is for motor vehicles, the YLT is a coloring book, NIV for scientific listings of flora, NASB for those learning to speak Urdu, and the TLB is for chefs. If you picked up one that you did not understand you would be lost and confused. The same goes for music, just because it SOUNDS different, it does not mean it isn't what it is. You wouldn't pick up a book on learning to speak Urdu if you were learning of motor vehicles, yes? I am not saying your hearts are in the wrong place, trust me, if it was not for my assignment and trying to go outside my safe zone box, I would not have listened to it, but just read the words and THEN tell us it is not from God. NO OFFENSE!!! Keep rocking it out for him. And as the church I attend says: United by His love and empowered by his spirit, we will reach out and raise disciples for Jesus.

Well said, the beat has nothing to do with this song coming from the devil or conforming to secular music. Just because secular artists use a drum set doesn't mean that we are conforming to them by using the same instruments to convey a Christian message. Do u really expect every Christian band to use harps and lutes and lyres like in the bible? Even that wouldnt make any difference.
