This is the weird stuff that Bucket head, Freak Kitchen, Primus and other bands play. Very non traditional. I can see the talent but I rather the more traditional flavors in music.

Mathias from Sweden and plays in the band "Freak Kitchen" + plays in Freak Guitar Camp every year and gives masterclasses all around the world, Bumblefoot used to make albums under the name of "Ron Thal", then did a video game soundtrack (wild woody), he's american by the way, he has then released albums under the name "Bumblefoot", is in GNR since 2006 and played on the last album and you can find him on compilations:guitars that ate my brain, crushing days, ominous guitarists from the unknown

@ChickityChoice It's actually "less is more" in Mattias' case. All he uses in this video clip is a standard Laney head + cabinet and his signature Caparison Apple Horn guitar. Sometimes he uses a Dunlop wah-wah and a Dunlop volume pedal, but that's not often. The rest is in his fingers.
