I think of all the people just living their lives, working for their food and running in circles like rats in a cage, and all their unknowing effort is being used to move the gears of a large war machine that's destroying the world. It's like we are the little wheels and what we are doing as a country, as a species is just one big wheel moving for either good or in our case evil. I don't know if that even makes sense, but this song is just beautiful.

I have listened to her most of my life, since I was 11 and I am 52 now. Her music has gotten me through some tough times in my life. She is one of a kind. and I agree, at least her spirit is never going to die. She makes be believe God is alive and magic is afoot! Thank you, Buffy.

Lovely. I think this is a pretty cool reinterpretation of one of my favorites of hers (although I do prefer the original just that tiny bit more). I wonder why so many of her songs got covered a million times and this one never really did... Tam White did a nice cover, but it just doesn't rip my heart out and haunt my dreams the way both of Buffy's versions do.
