I'm a 54 year old lawyer from Michigan USA, and I found out about this band from the college radio station where I had a show (ca. 1978). I appreciated the humor (juxtaposition of "metal" with a harmless pet bird). I never understood what the hell Burke Shelley was singing about but I was hooked nevertheless.

I was just going through my little record collection and i found an extra budgie album! I found "Bandolier" and then i noticed i never really listened to this one " If I Were Brittania"( which i also thankfully have :) ). It kix ass i frigging LOVE BUDGIE. My favorite is " In For The Kill"!!!!

have been into Budgie a very long time, have all their stuff, thanks for posting some here. I saw another comment on Montrose, too bad, shot himself recently with a blood alcohol of .31, family tried to say he died of cancer but the truth came out. Keep up the good work.
