Actually, 914 Sound Studios (so named after the area code for that area, at the time) was located in Blauvelt, NY - in Rockland County - about 20 miles up the Hudson River from NYC. Being from the area we always felt proud that Bruce, The Ramones, Dusty Springfield and Janis Ian recorded in or near our hometown! (Thanks for posting this song - it's GREAT!).........
