This whole lp is hard for me to listen to. I went through a very emotional devorce when this came out. Every song hits home with me on this one. I'm born & breed in NJ. Big fan of Bruce, and so was my ex wife. I could feel his pain & emotion in this lp, i was going through the same thing. It opens up old wounds.

Tunnel of Love, the little talked about masterpiece. I hadn't listened to it in a year and Lonely Valentine closes out the record. I had to pull my car over and gather my thoughts. The song is like a warm desert breeze that blows gently across your soul and then those feelings of longing just wash over you. It stops you in your tracks and you feel joy and sadness in the same moment.This is what great song writing is all about.
