i am not trying to be a troll. I always got the impression of inauthenticity from "The Boss". This song seems forced and contrived. Actually kinda childish, a kid who yells i want to be free until his voice is sore. There is even a section that sounds like a fair or carnival. I get it, he is super american and people needed that reassurance in the 70's. This is in no way a bad song, but i think overrated. Anyone want a discussion?
