"Back in 2005 when we were recording Self-Titled we found ourselves at Ohad Benchetrit's [of Years] house working on material for the album. A lot of the songs recorded at Ohad's made it on to Spirit If... and some never found a home. Day Of The Kid" is a song that came from those sessions. It shows the idea of what was to come, and more importantly what we love to do."
