The band Brokdar was founded in autumn 2001.

Originally it consisted of four musicians – Ranunk – lead guitar (ex Croatoan), Dread – rhythm guitar (ex Dehumanatum), and Fenix – drums (ex Dehumanatum).

The composing was shared between the guitarists, and the drummer was responsible for the lyrics.

The band’s direction of music was filled with the musical atmosphere of Melodic Metal.

In spring 2012 a bass-guitarist Smog (ex Frosen Empire, Dehumanatum) joined the band.

With these members the band continued composing new material and searching for an appropriate voice.

Later in summer that year a vocalist Morgoth joined the band. After his joining, the band changed its direction in some way. Extreme notes began showing up and the style was getting closer to Melodic Death Metal, however still working with fantasy.

By winter that year we had started working with a conceptual full-size album.

In summer 2013 Smog, the bass-guitarist, left the band, and the vocalist also began working with bass.

The material had been written by summer and the band started recording.

By the beginning of 2014 all the tracks had been recorded.

Dread, rhythm guitar, left the band and decided to focus on a solo project.

The recorded material is sending to USOUNDWORKS for mixing and mastering.

Group combines melodic passages fantasy and fierce guitar gashes, lyric insert and extreme vocals.

But one thing remains unchanged - a thick and dense atmosphere of medieval fantasy.

In Fetters Glacial - bands' debut.

It's a concept album which tells about the harsh lands of the northern barbarians.

Recorded at home studio Krasnodar 2013.
