The first time I heard this album, I asked the individual who played it for me, if he was still alive? I was only half joking, as the material is drenched in melancholy. It wasn't until the release of 'I'm Wide Awake Its Morning', & 'Digital Ash in a Digital Urn' that I realized Conors seemingly natural talent as a musician. Since then, I've listened to everything he has released. Past, and present. The man is a genius, and musical prodigy.

I am the same way. i just bought my deicide tickets for tomorrow, but this guy has had the biggest influence on my life, more than any other bad. his poetry is spot on fucking beautiful. realistic, raw and honest. no wonder why he has been my favorite musician since middle school, ten years and going on still.

I now everyone loves Conor, but Mike Mogis deserves a TON on credit. He discovered Conor and wanted to work on music with him. Mogis is a fantastic musician behind Bright Eyes.
